I’m Julian and I started Top Decorators 20-plus years ago because I wanted to help people see the potential in their homes. I have a range of experience that includes meticulous surface preparation, priming, premium painting, detailed finishing, wallpapering, frescoes, decorative techniques, and protective coatings.

Painting and decorating trends and fashions may come and go, so I pride myself on my flawless craftsmanship that not only elevates your space, but also stands the test of time.

Beyond that, we carry out structural work that includes masonry and brickwork, concrete work and reinforcement, demolition and site clearance, groundwork and excavation. I also specialise in damp proofing, patio installation, and repairs to windows and doors.

We know that when we come into your home or workplace, it is personal to you. We will always respect your space, by keeping it clean and tidy as we carry out our work. We are committed to carrying out our work in a timely and professional manner – my team and I will always deliver what we promised and in the stated timeframe.

Where do you live?

I live in Eltham with my wife, daughter and cat, Milo.

I enjoy a mug of green tea when I’m working.

What do you like most about your job?

The best part about my job is being able to bring people’s ideas to life and to provide them with a structurally safe property that is comfortable and reflects who they are.

It is so rewarding to finish a project and to come away knowing that my customers are happy with the work we have carried out. There is a lot of satisfaction in seeing a job through to completion.

What do you like to do at the end of the day to unwind?

I like to spend time with my family after a day at work. My wife is a brilliant cook, so we sit around and have dinner together.
